How do NFC cards work?

NFC (Near Field Communication) cards contain a small chip that can be read by smartphones. When someone taps your card with their phone, it automatically opens your MeroID profile in their browser. No apps required.

Do I need a special phone to use NFC cards?

Most modern smartphones support NFC. iPhone 7 and later models, and most Android phones from 2014 onwards have NFC capability. Check our compatibility page for details.

What if someone doesn't have an NFC-enabled phone?

No problem! Your MeroID profile also has a unique QR code and shareable link. Anyone can access your profile by scanning the QR code or clicking the link.

Can I change my information after I get my card?

Yes! That's one of the biggest advantages of digital cards. Update your information anytime in your dashboard, and all your links and cards will automatically show the latest information.

How much does it cost?

MeroID is free to use. You can create your digital profile, get a QR code, and share your link at no cost. Physical NFC cards are available as an optional upgrade. See our pricing page for details.

Is my information secure?

Absolutely. You control exactly what information is visible on your public profile. Email, phone, and other sensitive details can be hidden or shown based on your preferences. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data.

Can I customize my profile?

Yes! Choose from five beautiful themes, upload your photo and cover image, add links to your social media and websites, and customize your bio. Make it uniquely yours.

What happens if I lose my NFC card?

If you lose your physical card, you can simply order a replacement. Your profile and all your links will continue to work. You can also deactivate the lost card from your dashboard if needed.

Do people need to download an app?

No! That's the beauty of MeroID. Your profile opens directly in any web browser. No app downloads, no sign-ups required for your contacts.

Can I use MeroID for my business?

Yes! MeroID works great for individuals and businesses. You can create profiles for team members, add company information, and maintain a professional online presence.
